Plastics Encounter Southeast was the anchor event for a Mega Plastics
Week at the Charlotte Convention Center. Exhibitors representing 180 companies
conducted business with more than 1,604 ttendees. Here is what happened in Charlotte:

Southern District Conference was also held at the Charlotte facility and many
members visited the trade show floor and attended Plastics Encounter conference

Structural Plastics Division’s 32nd Annual Conference & Design Competition
was co-located with Plastics Encounter Southeast and the gallery of its annual
product design winners was located on the trade show floor. This is the only
conference dedicated to expanding the knowledge and business of the structural
plastics industry. | | |

| Jeff Carr, a tool maker at
BIC Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., won this Sea Doo at Plastics Encounter Southeast
in Charlotte. Another winner will be selected at PE Midwest in Cleveland June
